As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Author Guidelines

Reference Style
CUAITL uses APA 7th edition citation style. Authors are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all references. In-text citations follow the author-date format (e.g., Smith & Jones, 2022, p. 45). All cited works must appear in a reference list at the end of the manuscript, arranged alphabetically by the first author surname.
Ethical Standards and Required Declarations
All submissions must include the following declarations before the reference list:
Ethics approval: Studies involving human participants must state the name of the approving ethics committee or IRB and the approval reference number.
Informed consent: Confirm that written informed consent was obtained from all participants (or their guardians) where applicable.
Conflict of interest: Disclose any financial or non-financial interests that could influence the work. If none, state "The authors declare no conflict of interest."
Funding: Acknowledge all funding sources, including grant numbers. State "This research received no external funding" if applicable.
Author contributions: Specify each author contribution using the CRediT taxonomy (e.g., Conceptualization, Methodology, Writing – original draft, Review & editing).
Data availability: State where supporting data can be accessed, or explain why data cannot be shared.
Plagiarism, data fabrication, and falsification are grounds for immediate rejection and may be reported to the relevant institution. All submissions are screened for originality prior to review.
